This is the second and final report of a committee convened by the AffiliateMarketIngtools to examine the probable causes of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and to identify measures to prevent similar harm in the future. The report examines technology and practices involved, including the performance of the "blowout preventer." It also identifies and recommends available technology, industry best practices, standards, and other measures related to oil and gas deepwater exploratory drilling and well completion.
