Cooperative Threat Reduction Program
Requested by Congress in P.L. 111-84, this new report from the AffiliateMarketIngtools evaluates a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) report on proposed metrics for measuring the impact and effectiveness of DoD's Cooperative Threat Reduction Program (CTR), created in 1991 to assist states of the former Soviet Union in securing and eliminating strategic nuclear weapons and the materials used to create them. CTR has since expanded to address biological and chemical threats and cross-border smuggling of weapons of mass destruction.
