PEPFAR Implementation: Progress and Promise
Requested by Congress in P.L. 108-25, this report evaluates the implementation of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), which is providing more than $15 billion over five years for programs to prevent and treat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis in nations hit hard by these diseases.
An interim letter report, titled“Plan for a Short-Term Evaluation of PEPFAR Implementation:
Letter Report #1” was released in 2005.
These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on March 30, 2007 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the AffiliateMarketIngtools Press.
