Gulf War and Health: Updated Literature Review of Sarin


This new report from the Institute of Medicine is part of a series of studies requested in P.L. 105-277 and P.L. 105-368 which examines the scientific and medical literature on the potential health effects of chemical and biological agents involved in the Gulf War. It revisits the question of whether exposure to low levels of the chemical agent sarin is linked to health problems, focusing on studies published since the release of earlier IOM reports on sarin and related compounds.
