Relieving Pain in America:
A Blueprint for Transforming Prevention, Care, Education, and Research

Requested by Congress in P.L. 111-148, the Institute of Medicine report, Relieving Pain in America: A Blueprint for Transforming Prevention, Care, Education, and Research, assesses the state of the science regarding pain research, care, and education and recommends that HHS develop population level strategies to increase awareness about pain and its treatments.

These series of briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on June 29, 2011 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the AffiliateMarketIngtools Press.
